International Practice

Redefining the practice of law

As an alternative to the traditional large law firm model, Barfer Law was established as an independent legal practice offering a different approach to the practice of law, focused on delivering strategic, high-level legal advice to individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises with international interests.

Its guiding principle is straightforward: legal excellence is fully compatible with direct client engagement and a cost-value relationship that clients can appreciate in every matter.

The practice is led by Francisco Barquín Domínguez, Doctor of Laws (PhD) from the University of Alcalá and a lawyer admitted to practise in Spain and Mexico, who has practised as a solo practitioner since 2018, focusing on Private International Law and European Union Law.

The practice combines extensive professional experience, a strong academic background and a carefully selected network of independent lawyers and specialist advisers, enabling each matter to be handled with sound legal judgment, efficiency and a level of personal attention that is increasingly uncommon among large law firms.

This approach results in a distinctive, dependable and efficient legal service, founded on legal excellence, transparency and personalised client service as the cornerstones of every professional relationship.
